Issam Jamil Mansour PhD

Born on March 29, 1963. Married, two children.
Dr Issam Mansour was appointed by the founders of the university in September 2014.
He enjoys a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University Pierre et Marie Curie - Paris VI. His academic and research fields cover DNA Forensics, Transplantation Biology and Transfusion Science. Starting 1993, he founded laboratories dedicated for organ transplantation at the Hôtel-Dieu de France in Lebanon, while being Adjunct Professor in Immunology and Immunogenetics at the Medical School and the Faculty of Sciences at the Saint-Joseph University. He is also the former founding Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS), which encompasses programs in Forensic Science, Radiological Sciences, Optics and Optometry and Clinical Laboratory Science, at the American University of Science and Technology in Beirut since 2002. 
Mr Mansour made a paradigm shift in his life course and took the challenge of joining the fantastic AUNOHR project with all its potentials for a social change, philosophy of hope and preparing a better future.
He has assisted in the development of the administrative and academic infrastructure, accreditation and students’ affairs.
President Mansour welcome you to this first-of-a-kind higher education institution that is utterly socially engaged and dedicated for dissemination of the culture of non-violence and for building capacities and skills in areas related to non-violent communication and strategies, human rights, conflict prevention and management, mediation, social active training, civic education and teaching citizenship.
