Grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, he is a writer and international lecturer. He strives to spread through his living testimony his grandfather's historical legacy, as he lived with him and learned the essence of nonviolence. He is a committed advocate for just causes across the world, including the Palestinian cause. Gandhi is also the founder of many university institutes for nonviolence education in India and the United States.
