The Academic University college for Non-violence and Human Rights – AUNOHR is an official independent Higher Education institution based in Lebanon and under the Lebanese law.  

AUNOHR was established under a license decree issued by the Council of Ministers, No. /487/ on 4^th September 2014, which was published in the Official Gazette No. 39 on 18^th September 2014.

In addition, AUNOHR obtained a license to teach, issued by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Lebanon, No. 714/m/2015 on 19^th August 2015, which was published in the Official Gazette No. 36 on 3^rd September 2015.

AUNOHR has a “trademark registration” certificate issued by the Intellectual Property Protection Office, No. 164607 about the description and characteristics of the University’s name and its logo, on 26^th February 2015: Registration certificate No. 164607.

In addition, AUNOHR has a “trademark registration” certificate from the Intellectual Property Protection Office, No. 164848 about the description and characteristics of the foreign language short name AUNOHR and the top level domain for the University’s website “.edu.lb”, on 12^th March 2015: Registration Certificate No. 164848.
