Samira El-Daher (Lebanon)

She is the first Lebanese woman to serve as ambassador. She has extensive diplomatic and cultural experience in many countries, and played a distinct role in UNESCO and the International Organization of Francophonie. Daher was a professor at the American Institute in Paris, specialized in diplomatic international affairs. She has published several articles and has made various contributions in mediation, reconciliation, education and peace issues among others.
